TellmeTwin Terms of Service

Welcome to TellmeTwin, a social utility and recommendation engine. TellmeTwin (collectively, "TellmeTwin" or "the Service") are operated by TellmeTwin, Inc. and its corporate affiliates (collectively, "us", "we" or "the Company"). By accessing or using our web site at www.tellmetwin.com you (the "User") signify that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms of Use" or "Agreement"), whether or not you are a registered member of TellmeTwin. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, add, or delete portions of these Terms of Use at any time without further notice. If we do this, we will post the changes to these Terms of Use on this page and will indicate at the bottom of this page the date these terms were last revised. Your continued use of the Service or the Site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Use. If you do not agree to abide by these or any future Terms of Use, do not use or access (or continue to use or access) the Service or the Site. It is your responsibility to regularly check the Site to determine if there have been changes to these Terms of Use and to review such changes.

Acceptable Use

By using the TellmeTwin service you are agreeing to abide by the following:

You will be respectful of other TellmeTwin users. Obscene, indecent, unlawful, threatening or harmful content will not be tolerated.
Pornographic or Adult material, photos, videos or written descriptions are not allowed.
With the exception of the Geekmaster Project as per below, you may not advertise or offer to sell any goods or services for any commercial purposes.
You will not post any copyrighted content.

Geekmaster Project

By creating a page on TellmeTwin or by claiming an existing page you become the Geekmaster of that page. You are now the only person who can edit that page and you are also entitled to 50% of all sales/ ad revenues generated by that page. This includes all sales/ad links you place yourself in between personally written content. It also includes the "buy" link at the top of the Page, next to the profile photo of the page. It does not include any sales/ad links in the general header or footer of TellmeTwin.

All the restrictions in the chapter above, "Acceptable Use", apply to the Geekmaster pages as well. In addition you are expected to build your Geekmaster pages from the heart. They should be personally written and reflective of your own passions. TellmeTwin will take back your Geekmaster right if we estimate that you are not abiding by those guidelines. This includes but is not limited to cases where a user may claim or create pages of popular content and will then not work on it or maintain it afterwards, or if the user will do so in such a way that we deem insufficient.

TellmeTwin reserves the right to monitor any activity and content associated with its features, and to remove or edit content that violates these policies or is otherwise objectionable.
