About the game
StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty is a military strategy game that occurs in the space, in the future. The game was made for PC and Mac and was released on July 27, 2010.StarCraft II splits into three parts: Wings of Liberty, Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void. The last two will be expansion packs.
The player can choose between three races: Terran, human exiles from Earth; the Zerg, a race of insectoid genetic assimilators; and the Protoss, a species with vast psionic power. Wings of Liberty is about the Terrans, while the other two expansions will be about Zerg and Protoss.
The story takes place four years after StarCraft: Brood War (the only expansion of the first StarCraft game). In the beginning of the game, you are Jim Raynor, the leader of an insurgent group which fights against the Terran Dominion.
