It's easy to start making some extra cash. All Revenues generated this way are split 50/50 between you and TellmeTwin. To get started you just need to do a few things:

• 1 Get your ID's from Amazon, ClickBank or Google AdSense
• 2 Go to Settings and fill in the Earn Money fields
• 3 Add Content to your Passion page from Amazon, AdSense, or ClickBank
• 4 Start earning some extra cash!

How to get your Amazon Associates ID

By adding your Amazon Associate ID to your TellmeTwin account you can start earning money.

Follow these steps to obtain your Amazon Associate ID:

• 1. In the Settings page on TellmeTwin click the Get Amazon Associate ID link to go to the
  Amazon.com Associates Program: Application page.
• 2. Enter your e-mail address and select the option: I am a new customer.
• 
• 3. Create a new Amazon Account or use your existing account if you already have one.
• 4. At the "Your Account Information" page, fill in all fields as required.
• 5. At the "Your Website Profile" page, fill in the required fields as follows:
• 

  a) What is the name of your website?
  TellmeTwin

  b) What is the URL of the website?
  Copy the URL at your TellmeTwin profile page and paste it into the field.

  http://www.tellmetwin.com/profile/YOUR_USERNAME

  c) What is your website(s) about?
  It's a people matching and recommendation site. You rate items and build webpages about your passions and earn money.

• 

  d) At the Describe your website(s) topic drop down menu, choose a category that best fits with your interests and passions.

  e) Check all boxes at What type of Amazon items you will list on your website(s).

  f) At the What type of site is your website(s)?, choose the Content or Niche Website option.

• 

  g) At the How do you drive traffic to your website(s)?, check the boxes as shown.

  h) Select the appropriate options from the drop down menu's as displayed.

  i) Check the box under Contract Terms and click Finish.

• 
• 6. Pick Your Payment Method and press Continue.
• 7. As soon as Amazon has approved your application you should receive a confirmation email with your unique Amazon Associates ID. It can take 2-3 days to get approval.
• 8. Enter your Amazon Associate ID in the appropriate field located in your TellmeTwin Settings.
• 9. You can now start earning money for your Amazon referrals.

How to get your Google AdSense ID

By adding your Google AdSense ID to your TellmeTwin account you can start earning money.

Before you apply for AdSense there is something you need to know. There is no guarantee that
your account will be approved by Google AdSense, because they are selective in who they approve.

But here are some helpful tips before your apply:

• 1. Rate at least 100-200 passions on TellmeTwin
• 2. Upload your profile images, Add Crazy Quirks, Favorite Geeks, create some interesting Lists and complete your profile as best you can.
• 3. Build and manage your Passion Pages with original content.

Follow these steps to obtain your Google AdSense ID:

• 1. In the Settings page on TellmeTwin click the Get Google adSense ID link to go to the Google Adsense Application page.
• 2. At the Website Information section, fill in the required fields as follows:
• 

  a) Website URL:
  Copy the URL at your TellmeTwin profile page and paste it into the field.

  b) Select English - English as a Website language from the drop down menu and check the boxes as shown.

• 3. At the Contact Information section, fill in the required fields as follows:
• 

  a) Select Induvidual as Account Type from the drop down menu.

  b) Select your Country or territory and fill in your name, address and phone information as required.

  c) Check the box I agree that I can receive checks, as shown.

• 4. At the Policies section, check all boxes then click Submit.
• 
• 5. Review your information then click Continue.
• 6. As soon as Google Adsense has approved your application you should receive a confirmation email where you will need to activate your account. It can take a few days to get approval.
• 7. You will need to have activated your account to continue. When you have recieved your confirmation email, you can move on to the next step.
• 8. At your Google Adsense account under Property Information copy the AdSense for Content ID code.
• 
• 9. Enter your AdSense for Content ID in the appropriate field located in your TellmeTwin Settings

• 10. After you've been approved by Google AdSense, go to your adSense account, Underneath 'AdSense Setup' click on 'Channels'.

  • 1. A little further down click on 'URL channels'.
  • 2. Click on 'Add new URL channels',
  • 3. Type in tellmetwin.com. Make sure it's ONLY tellmetwin.com you don't need in the www (if you put in the www it won't work).
  • 4. Click on Add channels.
  • 
• 11. You can now start earning money for Google Ads displayed on your Passion page.

How to get your Clickbank ID

By adding your Clickbank ID to your TellmeTwin account you can start earning money.

Follow these steps to obtain your Clickbank ID:

• 

  1. In the Settings page on TellmeTwin click the Get ClickBank ID link to go to the ClickBank Homepage.

  2. Click the Sign Up icon at the upper right corner to go to the Clickbank Signup Form page.

• 

  3. Fill in your contact information, such as name, address and phone number in the fields as required.

  • a) At the Address of your Web site field, copy the URL at your TellmeTwin profile page and paste it into the field.

  • b) Select a Nickname ID for your new ClickBank Account.
• 4. Check the box I have read and agree to the terms and conditions, and click Submit.
• 

  5. You should receive a email containing your confirmation code from ClickBank where you will need to activate your account using the confirmation code.

• 

  1. Enter your ClickBank Account Nickname ID in the appropriate field located in your TellmeTwin Settings.

• 2. You can now start earning money for ClickBank products displayed on your Passion page.

How to add an Amazon module to your Passion page

By adding a Amazon module to your Passion pages, you can start earning money.

Before you begin, be sure you have already followed the steps shown at the "How to get your Amazon Associates ID" to obtain your own Google Adsense ID.

• 1. At your Passion page, click the button marked Edit This in the upper right corner. Note that you can only press the "Edit This" icon if you're the Geekmaster of that passion.
• 2. At the Add Content section, select Amazon Module. This will bring up a new window.
• 

  3. Type in a title for your Amazon module. This title will be displayed in the Manage Content section at your Passion page.

  4. Write in a text that will go with your Amazon products in the box marked Text.

  5. Choose if you want to Amazon to pick products based on your keyword and product type or pick your own products to link to.

• a) If you choose Amazon Pick, you have the option to select a keyword and Product Type which Amazon will then use to select the products displayed on your Passion page.
  • 1. Type in your keyword.
  • 2. Select a Product Type from the drop down menu.
  • 3. Pick how many products you want to display from the drop down menu.
  • 4. Click save and your module will appear on your Passion page.
• b) If you choose to Pick Yourself you have the option to browse Amazon for products you want to display on your Passion page.
• 
• 1. Go to www.amazon.com and search the site for the product you wish to display.
• 2. At the product page copy the URL at the top of the page.
• 3. Go back to your Amazon module and paste the link into the appropriate field.
• 4. If you wish to add more products to display click the Add Another Amazon button and follow steps 1-3 again.
• 5. Click save and your module will appear on your Passion page.

How to add an Google Adsense module to your Passion page

By adding a Google Adsense module to your Passion pages, you can start earning money.

Before you begin, be sure you have already followed the steps shown at the "How to get your Google Adsense ID" to obtain your own Google Adsense ID.

• 1. At your Passion page, click the button marked Edit This in the upper right corner. Note that you can only press the "Edit This" icon if you're the Geekmaster of that passion.
• 2. At the Add Content section, select Adsense Module. This will bring up a new window.

• 

  3. Type in a title for your AdSense module. This title will be displayed in the Manage Content section at your Passion page.

  4. Click the adSense link within the window and sign in to your Google Adsense account.

• 5. Click the AdSense Setup tab and select the AdSense for Content option.
• 
• 6. Choose if you want to display an Ad unit or Link unit then press continue.
• 
• 7. Choose your ad Format and Color from the drop down menus.
• 8. At the Choose Ad Channels section, press continue.
• 9. At the Save and Get Ad Code section, you can choose a name for your Adsense Unit or use the default option.
• 10. Click Submit and Get Code.
• 
• 11. You will be presented with a unit script, copy the code string listed at the google_ad_slot as shown.
• 
• 12. Go back to your AdSense Module at www.tellmetwin.com and paste the code into the Slot field.
• 13. Click Save and your module will appear on your Passion page.

How to add a Clickbank module to your Passion page

By adding a Clickbank module to your Passion pages, you can start earning money.

Before you begin, be sure you have already followed the steps shown at the "How to get your ClickBank ID" to obtain your own ClickBank ID.

• 1. At your Passion page, click the button marked Edit This in the upper right corner. Note that you can only press the "Edit This" icon if you're the Geekmaster of that passion.
• 2. At the Add Content section, select Clickbank module. This will bring up a new window.
• 

  3. Type in a title for your clickbank module. This title will be displayed in the Manage Content section at your Passion page.

  4. Choose if you want to display vendors by keyword or pick your own vendor.

• a) If you choose Vendors by Keyword, you have the option to select a keyword which clickbank will then use to select the vendors displayed on your Passion page.

  • 1. Type in your keyword.
  • 2. Click save and your module will appear on your Passion page.

• b) If you choose to Pick Your Vendor, you have the option to input your selected vendor ID and include an image.

  • 1. To find a vendor ID you must log on to your ClickBank account and navigate to the Marketplace.
  • 
  • 2. Browse the Marketplace for the vendor you wish to promote.
  • 3. Click Promote next to the vendor you've selected. This will bring up a new window.
  • 
  • 4. Copy the code found at the top of the window
  • 
  • 5. Go back to your ClickBank Module at www.tellmetwin.com and paste the code into the Vendor ID field.
  • 6. If you wish to add a image to your promotion, find one that goes well with the vendor you picked and save it to your computer. (Browse your selected vendor page at ClickBank for appropriate images.)
  • 7. At the ClickBank Module press Browse... and find the image you just saved.
  • 8. Click Save and your module will appear on your Passion page.
